Classically trained since age 4, I did a sharp U-turn by going to Musicians Institute in 2012 for contemporary music. This REVOLUTIONIZED my approach to artistry and education dramatically and helped me create my own education company, Modern Pianista, providing perspectives from two schools of thought that are often head to head: classical vs. contemporary. Lessons with me will be about YOU. Your goals, your dreams and how I can help you achieve them in the most efficient way possible. Often times, piano is taught ground up where it feels like an insurmountable task, learning every single aspect of it, but I am here to remind you that STRATEGY exists. If you have goals to cover your favorite songs, switch up the arrangements, perform or record content or create better chord changes and beats, I am the teacher for you. I am looking for devoted music professionals who want a deeper understanding of music theory and want to put in the time and work to gain a solid foundation of the language of music. I'm looking forward to helping you grow and find joy through creating music!
