Hello, I’m Kate! I am a professional opera singer who has been with the Metropolitan Opera for 8 seasons in their full-time chorus as a soprano. Prior to that, I traveled around the US as a soloist, singing with many opera companies and symphonies. That being said, I have a lot of experience singing myself, and observing others, which has helped me become a better teacher! I love to teach, and hope to help you learn not only excellent, safe and efficient vocal technique, but also hope to help boost your confidence and have FUN while we are doing both. My teaching style is open, honest and kind, but I will ask you to challenge yourself. I want you to learn a lot but have a good time while doing so! I look forward to meeting you and making music together!
