Full time teaching elementary music. Thirteen years teaching wind band (including flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone and baritone) and orchestra (including violin, viola, cello, and bass). One year teaching elementary choirs.

Ceres Unified School District

Full time teaching junior high choirs (Girl's, Boy's, Mixed, and Concert), Beginning and Advanced Wind Bands, and Guitar. Performances at school and choral/band festivals.

Atascadero Fine Arts Academy

Part-time teaching elementary and junior high choirs, festival performances, and music director for spring musical.

Atascadero Bible Church

Oversight and direction of children's and youth music program, including three graded children's choirs, two youth choirs, and a college vocal ensemble; coordinating all children's and youth performances, direction of children's and junior high musicals, and direction of junior high and college choirs. Other duties included leading worship, performing vocally and on flute, guitar and keyboard as needed, administration of and performance in church orchestra, and assisting in all aspects of adult music ministry.

The American String Teachers Association, founded more than 60 years ago, is a membership organization for string and orchestra teachers and players, helping them to develop and refine their careers. ASTA's members range from budding student teachers to artist-status performers. The organization provides a vast array of services, including instrument insurance, an award-winning scholarly journal, discounts on publications and resources, annual professional development opportunities, and access to collegial network of colleagues throughout the string profession.

UMFA was founded in 1979 in the Twin Cities with the main purpose of being the premier local organization that is dedicated solely to the art of flute playing. We currently have over 150 members from various regions of the Upper Midwest.
