Hi, my name is Karen and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2008 and love helping my students learn new techniques, become better musicians or athletes and develop a love for what they do. I went to the University of Northern Colorado and earned a degree in Instrumental Music Education in 2008.  I have taught middle school and high school band and orchestra and have coached cross country, track and swimming.  I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Really enjoyed meeting Karen and taking direction on my first violin lesson. I learned how to hold, pluck, use a  bow and read music for the first time. The lesson book she suggested is easy to use and I can go at my own pace. She is knowledgeable and patient and told me what aps would be helpful to use. I would definitely recommend her after just one lesson.

She is amazing with kids! She is very knowledgeable in teaching swimming. She is an amazing teacher, very sweet. Absolutely recommend!
