Singing with Kara Ayn N.

I encourage singers to find balance in their voice. When we sing with balance, without unnecessary tension, not only do our voices become free, but we connect more deeply with the music we are singing and story we are telling. Balancing the bottom and top of your voice also aid in getting rid of any breaks of flips that many singer struggle with. I have studied with Speech Level Singing and Institute of Vocal Advancement Teachers, originally studying with Seth Riggs, founder of Speech Level Singing. Currently I teach voice and yoga, and work as an entertainer in Bryant Park. Before they moved out to sunny California, I was the lead singer for the jam band Mr Hunter. I am also a singer songwriter and have spent some time gigging around the city. Before that I was a musical theater performer.
