Music has always been my passion since I was young. Even before I played any instruments I was always glued to the radio, eager to hear the next great song. Not only am I passionate about music, but I am passionate about helping others learn and to achieve a similar relationship with music that I have. Patience is my biggest strength in teaching, and with it I am sure I can deliver the best possible atmosphere to help you learn!
After playing guitar all through high school and playing in its jazz band for two years, I realized I really did want to make music a career. I attended Loyola University Chicago and studied guitar and music theory, earning a BA in Music and graduating Cum Laude. I was awarded the Departmental Award for my performances in ensembles, and for my Senior Recital, where I performed all original compositions.
My experience in several styles of guitar can help you too! I feel that this versatility can help teach you exactly what you intend to learn from your lessons, and I will work diligently with you in order to reach your goals!
I am now available for Skype lessons online!!!

This guy is truely amazing with older people, I'm 54 years young and he great with me since I have never played any kind of music instrument, I'm having fun and he really explained alots, and the best is he has a lot of patience...
Justin is a great teacher. He has been patient while at the same time giving challenging subject matter to help further my lessons. Would definately recommend as an instructor.
Justin is a very talented musician and helpful instructor. His laid back personality and patience make the lessons very enjoyable! He is able to accurately gauge his students' competency and construct lessons that are both challenging and achievable. He incorporates the fundamentals of guitar alongside song-playing of the student's choice making practice both fun and productive. I definitely recommend him!!
