- Levels Taught:
- Beginner, Intermediate
I am a current student of music at California State San Bernardino and the first of my class to graduate with a Bachelors of Music.
My lesson plan will be tailored to what you want to get out of guitar, not some copy and paste curriculum like other institutions.
My degree concentration is in the classical guitar but in my spare time I have personally perused shred guitar as a hobby. Anything you want to learn we will learn together! So please, do not be intimidated. Jazz, pop, country, folk, and R&B are just some extra genres I can help you with.
When learning with me you won’t just learn how to play songs but you will also learn your instrument, as well as the building blocks of music theory. I can also help with students who wish to learn to read music as well.
- Teaches students:
- Ages 5+ and special needs
- Teaching since:
Hey! If you’re reading this, it’s because you’re interested in playing guitar and you’re lookin for someone who might be that right teacher for you. I’ve been playing guitar since I was a youngster at 12. My mom got me my first guitar from a music store that was no more than 50$. But ince I plugged it in I knew I was hooked. Rock and roll became a way of life and people only knew me as that one kid with the guitar.
Time has gone on but the fire for music still remains. The power of music is something that should not and cannot be ignored. It brings people in from the worst of times and lifts them up in the best of times. I remind myself everyday as an instructor that music is a lifelong pursuit and although you’ll learn a new song here and there, youll never truly stop learning. That’s what keeps it interesting.
Whether its Shred Guitar, Metal, Blues, Country, Jazz , R&B, Classical, Folk or whatever, my job is to help you reach your goals as guitar player and fuel the inner musician in you.
Don’t be afraid to contact me if you have any questions. Remember, there was a time when I was in your shoes and looking for an instructor just like you. So I understand the hesitation but don’t be afraid and make that leap. I’ll be looking forward to hearing from you!
