Piano with Julian E.

Excellent. Related to my son very well. We have had many music teachers as our kids of taking piano for years but relatively new to the sax and we've been very impressed by Julian.

I’ve had the pleasure of taking saxophone and flute lessons from Julian for the past six years and also studied music theory and beginning keyboard with him. Julian knows music inside out and is a consummate professional. It’s fun studying music with Julian; he’s very patient and easy going and does an excellent job of identifying areas where I need to improve. His explanations are clear and concise. His lessons are always enjoyable and I improve after each one. Julian always steers me toward the etudes and music that are the most beneficial for me. He takes the time to make sure I’m doing new things correctly, even if it means spending more time on something than we planned. He has great love and enthusiasm for music and I always come away from my lesions more highly motivated. I highly recommend him for both student and adult instruction. In addition to being an excellent teacher, Julian is a full-time professional musician and performer. I’ve seen him perform a number of times and he’s a terrific saxophone player. If you are interested in becoming a professional musician he knows the business from first-hand experience.

Julian has been teaching my son clarinet for almost 5 years. He is a great teacher. He made practicing fun and kept my son interested in studying music. I can't recommend him highly enough.
