Hello! I'm a recent graduate from the University of Washington School of Music with a master's degree in voice performance. I have extensive expertise and proficiency with music theory, music history, ear training, sight singing, piano and voice, and am looking for students interested in learning more about music, broadening their understanding of how music works and want to have fun! My teaching philosophy is focused on establishing and then building upon a healthy, sustainable vocal function. I focus on combining knowledge of voice science and anatomy with understanding artistry and musicianship tailored to the specific style of music being studied. I firmly believe in dispelling misinformation about singing and giving my students tools and abilities that they can take with them for the rest of their life; studying music gives people skills that go far beyond making music, and enriches the lives of everyone involved.
