I began my music career at age five playing the piano and a few years later the saxophone. At age eleven I traded my saxophone in for a guitar and that is when I discovered my true passion for music. I took lessons from various talented professors who teach at Berkeley School of Music as well as classes. I have also studied music myself at Florida Atlantic University. I later ran a guitar clinic for 3 summers in a row. *** Lesson Details *** From years of teaching experience I have found that every individual learns in a different way. That is why I make a point to cater to each student's individual needs. In the first lessons I assess how the student learns and build my lessons around that students needs. I take into consideration their pace, how they absorb knowledge best, their attention span and most importantly what they want to get out of guitar lessons. *** Studio Equipment *** I have a whole studio setup, all that is needed is your guitar. *** Travel Equipment *** Must have your own guitar! I will travel with mine. *** Specialties *** I specialize in teaching students how to perform with other musicians right from the beginning. As well as teaching them how to create rather then sticking inside the box!
