Jonna was the first singer/songwriter to combine American R&B sounds with Finnish lyrics, paving the way for a new era of pop music in Finland. She has released 3 Finnish albums with Sony Music, gotten multiple nominations at the Finnish Music Awards, booming radio play and top hits on the Finnish charts. 

She got her Bachelor's degree in pop and jazz vocal performance from Metropolia University in Helsinki, Finland in the spring of 2016. As a part of her degree she studied jazz vocals for 1 year at the Royal Music College in Stockholm, Sweden. 

After releasing her first English album "Sound Mind" and touring in Europe, she relocated to the US. She is currently living in NYC. 

In her Bachelor's degree program, Jonna has studied Estill Voice Training and Complete Vocal Technique. But she uses all the tools that she has learned from other teachers and tailors each lesson to fit the needs of each student and their choice of music genre.
