Percussion with Jonathan T.

I have always been passionate about music. From the early age of 2, I was using spoons to bang out rhythms on pots and pans. Ever since, my love of music has only grown, been built upon, and become more complex. In high school I took advantage of every percussion opportunity available. I excelled in jazz band, show choir band, wind ensemble, orchestra, marching band, and more. I led my drum line to numerous best percussion awards and finals finishes while continuing to hone my skills as a leader and a musician. Although not a music major in college, I was a member of the University of Nebraska Cornhusker Marching Band for two years, playing snare and tenors. I have played drums for worship bands at multiple churches over the last 10 years, professionally taught two high school drum lines, and have held multiple private students. I take time to get to know each student, their skill level and comfortability with different exercises and concepts, and craft each lesson to meet individual needs in order to produce growth.
