I am a professional Singer/Songwriter with over 15 years of experience in the music industry. I fell in love with music and especially guitar when I was in middle school and haven’t been able to put it down since then. During my high school career I was a member of a National Championship marching band and participated in both the Macy’s and Tournament of Roses Parade. I played lead guitar for FCA, jazz band, and started my own band which toured all over the Southeastern US. Since then I have worked with fellow musicians from all over the US, and have had the opportunity to write, perform, and work in many different studio settings. My goal as a guitar teacher is to make sure you become the best musician and guitarist you can be. I can’t wait to get started with your lessons! Feel free to ask any questions you may have!

After becoming frustrated with trying to teach myself guitar I decided to give lessons a try. I was hesitant at first but after my first lesson with John I felt encouraged and excited. John is a great teacher and I highly recommend him especially if it is your first time playing guitar.

John is a great guitar teacher! I started lessons as a true beginner and John worked with me through the basics and was very knowledgeable. He customized my lessons to my skills and needs and he always made himself available if I ever had any questions. I can honestly say that I would have given up on guitar in the first month if it weren’t for John helping me through my beginner frustrations. I highly recommend John to anyone looking for a great guitar teacher!

My son took guitar lessons with John and I was very impressed with how quickly my son was able to learn and show progress. John communicates extremely well and truly knows how to tailor fit lessons to the individual needs of the student. After only a few months of guitar lessons my son was able to play and learn songs on his own and now he is absolutely in love with guitar. If you are a parent and your child is interested in learning guitar you won’t be disappointed by having John as your teacher. 100% worth it!!
