I've been a guitarist for 15 years. I recently completed studies in the Guitar Performance program at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. I have three years teaching experience. Whether you've never picked up a guitar in your life or you've been playing for ten years and are stuck playing the same tired old licks, I can help you develop your abilities as a guitarist and musician. Not only will I help you develop a more well-rounded approach to the guitar and to music, but I will give you the tools to further identify your creative voice, allowing you to more fully realize and utilize your artistic potential. Regardless of your age, skill level or favorite style of music, I can give you support and direction in becoming the musician you want to be, whether that be a proficient hobbyist, member of a weekend jam band or a professional touring guitarist. *** Travel Equipment *** I can provide guitar, cable, and tuner. *** Specialties *** I specialize in blues, rock and punk guitar styles and techniques. I primarily teach using the CAGED system-- a method of organizing chords, arpeggios and scale patterns into interlocking shapes spanning the entire fretboard.
