Hi, my name's Joe, and I like to make learning music fun for my students.

Instead of just playing boring songs like "Mary Had a Little Lamb", I teach my students to play the songs they already love, whether it's by Bruno Mars, One Direction, or from their favorite movie.

If you or your child want to learn how to play the music you love while also learning how to read and even compose your own music, then I would love to be your teacher!

I earned two Master's Degrees in both Music Education and Performance from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. I've also won national competitions in performance and composition. I'm a Maryland Certified Music Educator.

As my first time actually learning how to play the piano this guy has been one of the best piano teachers. He's great with kids and easy going. He teaches his lessons based off of what you need help with. If there is anyone who already plays the piano and wants to enhance their skills i'm telling you this guy can do it. Look i've played the piano since i was 9 or 10 but, i never knew the foundation of playing the piano until i found Mr. Joe. You won't regret having him as a teacher. he's a 5 star.

My son is 14 years old. He has learned a great deal from Joe. From playing various chords of classical & pop genres, to reading music. His skillset has improved at an unbelievable rate/pace. These lessons are definitely worth every dime. I highly recommend Joe's In-Home lessons. No waiting. No distractions. Your child can learn in the privacy, comfort and convenience of your home. Thank me later!!

Joe brought out something from within me, and words cannot truly express it. His teachings were unlike anything I have ever experienced before. Instead of the dreary, day-to-day hammering I had to go through in other music classes... I was able to make music fluently, like I learned another language in hours. I can honestly say that his understanding of music cannot be duplicated, but only celebrated... I will never feel music the same again. - Wes Jones, student
