Ready for a summer filled with music? Take lessons in songwriting, voice or piano with a pro! I have a BA from Brown University and over a decade of experience playing, performing and teaching (privately as well as in music schools). Piano students learn to read music with me. I love working with beginners and had lots of success using the the Faber books. For voice students, I can help you learn to sing with freedom, confidence, and expression. I draw from my many years of experience as a singer/songwriter, performer and composer. I'm always interested in each student’s unique interests, goals, and learning style. I love bringing joy, inspiration, and passion through music! In my own career, I have recorded in Nashville, LA, Philadelphia, New York and Portland. I have toured nationally and released many albums. I've had the honor of singing with Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary and one of my songs placed in a video game! I love to mentor students who want to become effective songwriters. Looking forward to meeting you and helping you with greater self-expression through music!
