Drumming is one of my life’s deepest passions. I was introduced to the art at The Great Blue Heron Music Festival drum circle. I was captivated by the scene: dozens of people creating impromptu rhythms together, on the spot, giving others sounds to dance to around the massive bonfire, all feeling the collective energies come alive as the night moves to day. At that moment, I knew I would dedicate my life to exploring, understanding, and sharing this beautiful art form with others. Over the past decade, I have trained with—and performed alongside—expert drummers nationwide. I have performed at events like The Great Blue Heron Music Festival, Night Lights, Kinetic Fire Flow Fest, Nightmare Music Fest, Resonance, Sirius Rising, Starwood, and the Philadelphia Experiment Summer Fest. Through formal training and deliberate practice, I have developed my technical skillset—accentuated by my own style and flair. I offer a diverse collection of rhythms, patterns, and transitions to students. Moreover, I am confident that I can help students develop their abilities at whatever pace feels comfortable for them. In addition to technical training, I aim to help my students express themselves through their drumming. Drumming offers a powerful medium for creative expression, improvisation, emotional release, and bonding with others.
