I used to teach 100+ students a week between private and group lessons, running a full-time independent music school in Bel Air, MD, but have decided to teach part-time in addition to a full-time operations management job (in the adult jazz music biz!), have time to write, and teach the stuff I LOVE to teach to students who LOVE learning it. I have been teaching private and group music lessons for the past decade. My expertise is in developing the student as a confident trained vocalist/pianist and well-rounded musician, and in dismissing the 'mystery' for experienced musicians and artists, struggling to find their 'voice', and wanting to learn the language of music. I am a strong believer that everyone should become independent learners. That's why I became a teacher.
