About Jeremy H.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/?! I am Saxophonist and Composer that has performed in 11 countries from Concert music at Carnegie Hall to Brass Band music in Austin, Tx, to Funk and Jazz across Europe. I like to do it all! During that time, I have taught group lessons in underprivileged school districts, had students get accepted into the top music programs, and helped adults realize their creativity and be able to perform in front of live audiences every weekend. Teaching is very rewarding to me. I have published several works for the purpose of education! I completed my Undergraduate studies at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, and my Graduate studies at the University of Michigan.

Studying with Jeremy has been an incredible experience that positively changed my relationship with music. He knew a lot about every genre of playing and shared excitement about what is special in each style. And his approach was both very direct and exploratory at the same time. He also was able to push my comfort zone little by little in a healthy way. I never thought I could write my own music as early on as I now have! Studying with him, I have saved a lot of frustration and gained a lot of excitement about what is possible.
