Picture YOU as a sensitive, yet confident, performer

Already know how to sing and/or play an instrument, but want to convey your musical message more potently? We can fine-tune your technique and delivery, discuss repertoire choice, and work on body-conscious integration/presentation--so that you can feel more confident to deliver your musical message and connect with your audience. In addition to working with confidence, vulnerability is ALSO a strength as a performer. Learn how to attune yourself to the message of your song, to your own heart (and inner voice), AND to the audience.

    About Jennifer P.

I am a professional singer-songwriter and have been teaching lessons fulltime for 20+ years. I teach students of all ages and levels of experience. My current range of students include: kids with learning/developmental disabilities, teenagers who have starred in school musicals, and performing adult singer-songwriters. Whatever your background or desire, I can help you to cultivate your unique musical potential, and to strengthen your creative voice. As a professional vocalist and pianist, I have worked freelance, in a variety of settings, over the years--including solo, in wedding bands, small jazz and rock/pop groups and with big bands. I have been singing with the Mood Swings Big Band for 15 years. During that time, we have performed at the White House, the Chamber of Commerce and in Kennebunkport, Maine (at the Bush estate). I also have an extensive professional and personal background in meditation (19 years), astrology (14 years) and healing (particularly Reiki, 13 years). I am very interested in the intersection between a healing/mindfulness-awareness approach and singing/playing piano.

She's just amazing. You can tell that she has decades of experience of teaching with children. My 4 year old is very vocal and easily distracted but Jennifer patiently guides her back to her lesson. My daughter always has a fun and educational session. Even though it's thirty minutes, it's very jam packed. Definitely feel I'm getting quality lessons. Jennifer is just the BEST and we're very lucky to have her teach my daughter.
