I have been teaching piano to adults and children since 1997. I have successfully taught several children all the way though high school. Many of them still play piano which I take as a compliment.

I  use the Faber method until level 3 then transition into classical repertoire. I also give the child (or adult) the option of playing pop or jazz. My goal is to get the student to play to the best of their ability. I want them to play like they are telling a story, not just the notes in the page.

I have been teaching piano for over 10 years to adults and children, helping them reach their musical goals and love the piano. I enjoy seeing my students discover new things, solve problems and understand music better even if they have been playing for years. My back ground is largely classical but I can help you with jazz and pop as well.
