I am a professional guitarist and bassist. I obtained a degree from the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, CA. I have been teaching for over 10 years to students of all ages. I spent years performing around the San Francisco Bay Area and the last few years performing in New Orleans. I’ve toured internationally and have been on professional recordings. I just recently relocated to Los Angeles where I was born and I am looking forward to setting down roots here and exploring the music scene as well as developing a wonderful student clientele.

One thing that sets me apart from a lot of other teachers is my live performance experience in many genres of music. I’ve played in jazz ensembles, funk bands, latin groups, down home blues gigs and more, and I bring what I learned from the bandstand into our lessons with practical knowledge of what it takes to be a well rounded musician. I also love to sit at home and play my favorite songs which also makes me a great teacher for that as well.

I care most about what my students want to learn. I will guide you through the process, keep the the lessons exciting, and expose you to different aspects of music at the same time. The possibilities are endless and they are yours!
