French Horn

I am a professional French Horn player with over 20 years of experience playing and teaching all levels of music.  Currently I am Príncipal Horn of the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra and interim 4th Horn of the New Mexico Philharmonic Orchestra.  I have played Principal Horn previously in the Mexico City Philharmonic, the National Symphony of Chile, and the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra in Guadalajara, Mexico.

I have taught at several music conservatories in Mexico and South America, as well as in many schools in the Texas public school system. 

I studied with William VerMuelen at Rice University and my teaching is based on techniques learned from him as well as other leading horn players in the USA and around the world.

I currently play as Principal Horn in the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra and interim 4th Horn in the New Mexico Philharmonic Orchestra.  I have served as Principal Horn of several different orchestras throughout Mexico and South America over the past 20 years.

I have served as the Horn professor at the Fomento Nacional Conservatory and the Ollin Yolitzli Music Conservatory, both located in Mexico City.  I have also taught at several schools within the Houston Independant School District and other schools within the Texas Public School system.

I studied with William VerMeulen at Rice University and my teaching is based on techniques and skills learned during my time studying with him.
