Hi! I think teaching music should be fun and interesting. I love showing students just how enjoyable it is to perform on the drums. This has been my favorite thing to do since I was 8 years old. I moved to Las Vegas in 1988 to open up up a brand new production show at the Aladdin Hotel { which is now Planet Hollywood} and be in the live orchestra on THE BIG STAGE playing drums! Since then I have opened up 7 full scale production shows on The Strip and performed over 16,000 shows since then at hotels like Excalibur, Luxor, MGM Grand, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay just to name a few. I have been playing drums for Cirque du Soleil since 2009 in the show "O" at the Bellagio and teach privately during the day. I really like to show young students how to properly play the drums and read music as well as instructing the more experienced students how to compete in the very challenging world of music performance. I have taught general music in private schools here in Las Vegas, from kindergartners to middle schoolers. Music education is a huge passion of mine and I enjoy sharing my diversified background with all of my students. I have had the pleasure of playing full time with Grammy winners such as Sheena Easton, Michael Crawford and Tommy Tune as well as musical TV star David Cassidy. I want lessons to be fun and enjoyable with good structure. Music should be FUN!
