    About Jay G.

I'm a college music composition student pursuing a Bachelor of Music from Florida Atlantic University. I've completed the undergraduate course plan in Music Theory, and have moved on to graduate survey classes as an advanced student. Topics I specialize in include part-writing and harmony in the common practice era (what we usually call "classical music") and post-tonal music (music made after the 1900s). I've tutored several classmates with homework help and exam study, all seeing increased test scores. I believe that every student has different needs, so I am always open to changing my teaching style to better fit you.
