Students can expect engaging lessons that are first and foremost, FUN and tailored to meet their needs. Each lesson will help build and solidify their fundamental technique while learning music that is suitable for their playing level and music that interest them. I understand that the needs and learning styles for every student is unique, and therefore take careful time to plan and prepare so that my students are successful and happy with their time spent learning.

Hello! My name is Jason Lopez, I'm a clarinetist from Southern California that has taught for over 7 years, both in my private studio and at the Orchepia School of Music in Irvine, CA. In May 2020, I received my Masters of Music in Clarinet Performance from Cal State University - Fullerton while studying with Burt Hara. From 2016-2019, I was an active member of the Los Angeles Clarinet Choir, and have performed at the Claremont Clarinet Festival and Wintergreen Chamber Music Festival. Currently, I am actively performing with the Loyola Law School Orchestra, Palos Verdes Symphonic Band and the South Bay Wind Ensemble. When it comes to teaching, I treat each student as a unique individual and take care to design lessons based on a students needs and development.
