I offer one to one lessons in voiceover and studio setup and operation from beginner to advanced. I also teach the business of voiceover and will help you find your niche in this exciting industry.
I also offer one to one lessons in recording, mixing, musical production (Pro Tools) and voice-over, in a pro studio in Manhattans East Village. If you are looking for an introduction to the studio, or would like to explore advanced concepts.
My lessons take place at a working studio in Manhattans East Village, which has played host to many of the worlds greatest musicians (Blondie, Jay-Z, Gordon Raphael, Ryan Adams, Whitney Houston, Patti Smith, Lauren Hill, Macy Gray... and many others), and is equipped with a fantastic array of outboard hardware, microphones, instruments and software.
I am a music producer, engineer and mixer from the UK who now lives in NYC. I have worked in the music industry for 15 years. After graduating from college with a Distinction in Music Technology, I played in bands and toured and recorded across the UK, I then ran a recording studio for 5 years, and taught drums for 4 years. I now work as a freelance producer, engineer and mixer at a top studio in NYC.
I have voiced and engineered sessions for some of the worlds biggest companies, including: McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Yahoo! eBay, British Airways, National Geographic Channel, HP, Visa, BBC, American Express, IKEA, Philips, Samsung, Funny Or Die, and many more...
Starting as a session drummer at 17 has given me a huge amount of studio experience.
Playing in a range of styles and recording environments, as well as playing live on guitar and drums for many years.
I taught drums and guitar for 6 years in the UK prior to moving to NYC. I taught one to one, small groups and full classes in schools.
My relaxed and productive style, enabled me to teach classes that were fun and inspiring. As such I had a very high student retention rate.

He is also a very easy and outgoing person who has all the patience necessary to work and explain whatever needs to be explained in order to get the best recording.
I will continue working with him in future projects and I definitely recommend him to whoever wants to start a recording project or anybody who would like to learn about the professional process of recording in a studio.
