Trumpet Lessons/Studies: If you would like to learn and develop your skills on the trumpet in a new and unique way from an experienced professional performer and teacher with a heart for people and a passion for music look no further! All lessons are available Online/Skype only at this time. All ages and levels are encouraged with a special focus on intermediate, high school, college, professional, adult amateur, and the come-back player (For beginner students James highly recommends lessons with a teacher live in-person). James' primary teachers include the retired Principal Trumpet of the Boston Symphony Charles Schlueter as well as Peter Chapman (BSO) and David Greenhoe (Quad City Symphony and Lake Placid Sinfonietta). James K. performs across the USA as a trumpeter. He also conducts master classes and teaches lessons privately both in-person and through his online Skype trumpet studio. He has a unique niche and perspective and has worked with hundreds of students of all ages to bring them to a new level of musical success. He has created unique methods to teaching art and craft of practice, best practices for sight reading, and learning expressive musicality. Life Coaching and Life Planning Services: James has extensive experience working both with artists and the general population to help develop career and positive life choices. He draws from his experience as a professional artist, Fortune 500 corporate sales, and a husband and father to six children. Offerings include life planning, dream mapping, organizational skills, marketing, help with difficult decisions and relationship management.
