About Jakob L.
Music has been my whole life since I was a young teen over 20 years ago. I was so interested that I taught myself music theory from various books I could get my hands on and started making home recordings when I was 15. I've been in over 50 bands across almost every genre under the sun.
In addition to bass guitar I also play double bass and cello. I really love the low frequencies.
Groove and improvisation is what I gravitate towards and I love being a conduit to inject more groove into the world via my students.

So far I’ve taken a handful of lessons and Jakob has greatly improved my feel and playing a noticeable amount! He is able to hone in on what I need as a fledgling bass player. I often jam with my friends and jakob has given me advice on improve my abilities and role within a live setting. Patient, well spoken and I Can tell he cares about his students success.
