Hi, my name is Jaki and I've been teaching piano since 2013. My lessons focus on measurable advancement through the study and practice of scales through the circle of 5ths, sight reading, chord structure analysis, and music theory. I want to teach you to play your favorite songs while you learn the techniques and theory that live at the core of every bit of it. And as a result, you're going to learn these difficult concepts faster and easier than with alternative methods.
In addition, I also offer singing and songwriting lessons, as well as any combination thereof.

I have been teaching since 2013, and meanwhile my personal music career has garnered over 100 million streams, a Platinum Certification, more than 20 #1's on Apple Music, and 2 Top 10 spots on the Billboard Charts. My songs have been featured in films and TV, including MTV's "Are You The One?", NBC's "Love Island" (UK & US), and Bella Thorne's 2020 #1 film "Infamous".
I was first introduced to piano and voice at the age of 10 and quickly developed a passion for music, studying everything from classical to pop/contemporary and more. I have taught in public schools, private music schools, and independently.
Keeping my students happy and creaitvely challenged is what makes me happy!
