I have been teaching since 2013, and meanwhile my personal music career has garnered over 100 million streams, a Platinum Certification, more than 20 #1's on Apple Music, and 2 Top 10 spots on the Billboard Charts. My songs have been featured in films and TV, including MTV's "Are You The One?", NBC's "Love Island" (UK & US), and Bella Thorne's 2020 #1 film "Infamous". 

I was first introduced to piano and voice at the age of 10 and quickly developed a passion for music, studying everything from classical to pop/contemporary and more. I have taught in public schools, private music schools, and independently.

Keeping my students happy and creaitvely challenged is what makes me happy!

I got a job working the front desk of the music school I attended from a young age, and one day a teacher didn't show up for class, so my boss, having seen me perform many times, asked me to teach the lesson! I quickly fell in love with teaching and have been doing it ever since.

I’m a professional singer & songwriter and I’ve been teaching singing since 2013. I'll teach you the fundamentals (pitch, breath work, range building, etc.) while we work on your favorite songs.

What to Expect: 

- In our first class, I will assess your current level, find out what it is that you’re looking for, and give you an actionable assignment to challenge you between lessons. 
- Please decide on the song that you'd like to work on before class begins.
- Please have two devices handy at any given time so that we can run audio and voice memos at the same time.
- If you've got material you need to work on for an audition or upcoming performance, don't hesitate to bring it to class!
- If you've written songs in the past, or if you're actively working on songwriting, I'd be happy to help you with those as well.


My goal is to give you the skills to do anything you want to be able to do!


In addition to regular voice lessons, I also offer piano, songwriting, and music theory lessons, and any combination thereof.

She is the BEST I've found. 

My daughter started with Jaki when she was only 3 years old, and in just a year, Sara was not only playing her favorite Disney songs, but she was playing them to a metronome in perfect time, doing dress up performances for her stuffed animals, and just impressing the pants off of anybody that saw her play. I wish I could attach a video to this review.

This was the first singing lesson I've taken, and Jaki was punctual and personable. She sent me some mp3 clips of vocal warm-ups which will be great for me to be able to pull up so I can practice them along anytime.
