Hi, my name is Jaimie! I am currently unavailable for voice lessons, but will be opening a few select appointments starting in September. I have been teaching voice since 2008. I received a B.M. in Voice Performance from Lawrence University in 2011 and am pursuing my master’s in Voice Performance and Pedagogy at Texas State. In my studies I have focused on classical repertoire, but I also have experience with musical theater. Lessons are tailored to your individual needs to ensure that you receive the most effective instruction and maximize your learning potential. I will help you set goals and together we can find a teaching style that best suits you. We will focus on alignment, breathing, relaxation, expression, diction, legato, and overall musicality. Whether you are preparing for an audition or simply want to sing for fun, I can help you to sing freely and expressively. Regardless of your experience level, singing can be joyful and therapeutic, and I hope to pass this gift on to as many students as possible.
