My main priority is to get you to play the songs you want to play and sound the way you want to sound. I can teach all styles, however I tend to have a focus on Jazz, Rock, Funk, Jam, Pop, Blues, Neo-Soul, Bluegrass, and Country styles. Where to begin?

Mr. Burns has been instrumental (no pun intended), in the development of my guitar playing. I was already a professional studio musician when I encountered Jake. He was playing live at a venue I happened to walk into one evening. After the show, I approached Jake. We had a lengthy discussion on music philosophy, style, and feel. 

It was apparent to me, that if I was serious about becoming familiar with more complicated styles of play, Jake would be the man to help me achieve my goals. Jake has been a wonderful friend & mentor. You will not find a more professional, efficient & fun instructor. Mr. Burns is warm & inviting! He will help you reach your goals at "any" level of musicianship.
