Jaclyn has performed in countless concert bands, wind ensembles, orchestras and chamber groups in revered concert halls such as Boston's Symphony Hall, Cleveland's Severance Hall, and Kitara Hall in Sapporo, Japan. She has additionally studied voice, piano, theatre, and ballet to enhance her understanding of performance, expression, and relation to music. Jaclyn is often praised for her "sweet, round, full sound", and interpretation of repertoire, particularly Impressionist pieces by French composers.
Offering flute lessons to beginning and intermediate students, Jaclyn teaches both at the North End Music and Performing Arts Center and privately. She understands that all students learn differently, and takes a patient and consistent approach to music education. Emphasizing well-rounded flutistry, Jaclyn's students will gain a thorough understanding of rhythm, sound, breathing, technique, interpretation, and expression.
