Music is the fuel of my life! Born and raised in Russia, I was heavily influenced by the American/British rock/pop scene and started writing my own musical material in English at the age of 8. While studying classical piano and music theory for five years, I also picked up interest in the guitar and by the age of 19 I had an independent, self-produced album under my belt. Making music for a living was always my dream. This dream finally drove me to pursue my career nowhere else, but the entertainment capitol of the world, Los Angeles. While in Hollywood, I attended LA Talent Academy (Theatre of Arts, affiliated with The Musicians Institute) where I studied Music performance under the guidance of world class professionals. I have also worked with great producers, whose credentials include Grammy nominations and producing major artists such as Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, and George Michael. I’ve become a professional performer and a recording artist, while taking all my experience into the classroom! In 2009 I've released my American debut album “Privet Earth!”. Two songs from the album ended up on the 2011 Grammy ballot for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance. *** Lesson Details *** I strive to make a music lesson both productive and enjoyable. You want to shine onstage? Let’s make it happen! *** Studio Equipment *** Guitars: Gibson Les Paul studio electric, Carlo Robelli acoustic, Ebanez acoustic, Epiphone electric. Keyboards: Williams Encore synthesizer (88 weighed keys) *** Travel Equipment *** I can provide two acoustic guitars, two electric guitars w/ cables, mini-amps. ( Student still needs to have their own guitars/amps to practice their home work) For piano lessons, student needs to have their own piano/keyboards at home. The same goes for music theory, music performance, singing. *** Specialties *** My teaching methods are thorough. I make sure that the student learns and understands the theory as well as the essence of music. When it comes to genres, I specialize in Popular/Rock music. My student will learn how to play their favorite pop tunes, while learning the basics of the music theory. Bi-lingual (English, Russian)
