I am a current music major at GMU. I have been playing the trumpet for 11 years and taking lessons for 8. I have had a year of teaching experience from classes and individual lessons.

I am a recent GMU Music Major graduate with a minor in arts management. I have played the trumpet for 11 years and taken private lessons for 8. I'm open to teach any level but I am more experienced in teaching beginners and intermediate level students.

As a student of Ian, I can say that I am always excited for him to arrive for lessons. The fact that he is always super energetic and always understanding, and provides a really personal experience. He assigns work outside of the lessons, but never too much, just enough to get a head-start on the following lesson. As an intermediate trumpet player, I can say I thoroughly enjoyed taking lessons from him and would recommend him to others.
