Hey there, my name is Ian.
I'm a musician, performer and teacher from Wisconsin, based in New York, who studied Vocal Performance at Queens College. Have taken coachings for years in voice acting/voice over work. I've studied many different acting and singing styles with a number of notable stage directors, conductors, and other performers. I perform regularly around the New York area, as well as overseas in Germany, Italy, and London.
My performance credits include lead roles in operas by Mozart and Stravinsky; and musicals such as "Forever Plaid" and "Fiddler on the Roof".
I have spent years working on voice over/voice acting, and can show the right way to round out and project your voice for radio or stage work!
Work with the Suzuki method for violin/viola, as well as other methods such as John Thompson for piano for children.
I'm excellent with children and adults alike, having spent years developing skills teaching and performing to the highest standards, all my students are pushed to be the best possible!
Am comfortable teaching anyone, from beginners to coaching professionals!
Great teacher. Easy to work with and personable. Very knowledgeable, in depth, and accommodating. Immediately assesses strengths, weaknesses, and technique for improvement. Would definitely recommend.
Very musically insightful, and nice
