Trombone with Henry S.

I am a Chicago-based professional trombonist and music educator. I teach trombone, trumpet, euphonium, and tuba students of all ages- from elementary age to adults. I have been teaching privately for nine years- first in Washington State, and now in Chicago since 2019. I hold both Illinois and Washington certification in K-12 music, and currently teach as a subsitute teacher for Chicago Public Schools in addition to instructing beginning brass after school through the North River Commission. I both teach and perform a wide range of styles- Classical, Jazz, Pop, Musical Theatre, Funk, and Rock, to name a few. I am an alumnus of Central Washington University (BM Music Education and Trombone Performance) as well as DePaul University (MM Jazz Studies).
