Classical Piano with Heather D.

I have two teenage boys (ages 16&14) taking online piano lessons. I found Heather over a year ago after scrolling through many piano teacher profiles online! We moved, and there wasn’t anyone local who could teach my boys- they were all booked! So I thought we’d give online a try. Heather is very professional! She has cameras angled so the kids can see her hands on the piano and her face when she talks to them. She doesn’t waste a lot of time chatting, but also helps my boys feel like she’s interested in them. She is a warm, cheerful person and my boys look forward to their lessons! Not many teenage boys who are busy with work, school and sports continue with piano, but they enjoy it because I think they really look forward to their lessons. Heather is very good at starting and ending lessons on time, which I really appreciate. She is also really good at communication with me as the parent, but will also communicate with my boys directly at piano lessons or via text if they need to reschedule their lessons. My boys play sports so sometimes they have to juggle a lesson, and she’s very accommodating. My boys have improved so much within the last year! Heather really is a wonderful teacher and I love hearing the piano going for hours each day at my house. I’m so grateful to have found her, especially when there were so many options!

My kid loves working with Heather. When she gets to our house, she is full of energy and ready to start. She’s able to keep my kid on track and easily redirects my kid back to the piano when my kid starts talking about something else. She always makes my kid feel really proud and accomplished. Heather is so exciting that my 2 year old insists on getting a “lesson” from Heather before she leaves.

Our family has enjoyed having Heather as our piano teacher for the past few years. Jackson (10) and Elizabeth (8) have grown immensely in their piano etiquette, technique and skill sets. Heather came highly recommended from family friends and we are so grateful we have the opportunity to work with her. She is very patient, communicates efficiently, talented and excellent in her craft. So thankful!
