Heather holds a Music Degree for Music Therapy from the University of Iowa. She is especially good with younger children and those with special needs. Much of her work experience has been with people of varied developmental and learning challenges. Her specialty is developing adaptive, one on one lessons. *** Lesson Details *** Beginning Piano, Guitar and Flute. Children's Music Class! Learning about music through music therapy! Learning made fun! It is of upmost importance that students are having fun and enjoying their music lessons. This goal is achieved by the teachers positive attitude and positive reinforcement during lessons. This will motivate the student to engage more in their own learning process. I find that this approach also helps students to want to practice and play more since they are enjoying their experience. Lessons are adaptive to the needs of each student. I expect my students to practice and play!
