I have been playing classical guitar for 14 years since I was eight and have taught lessons since 2013. I have helped students read music, execute proper classical technique, understand music theory, and even learn more modern non-classical music. I try to tailor the lessons to the students needs. Artists and genres that I have experience with span from J. S. Bach to Led Zeppelin and Bob Dylan. My music theory experience covers basic theory, 18th and 16th century counterpoint, form analysis, sight singing and listening skills, and some modern 20th century techniques.
I am currently studying music performance at UNT and have taken many advanced theory courses. I have taken master classes and private lessons with the Eden Stell duo, Issac Bustos, Rene Izquierdo, Jorge Caballero, Adam Holzman, and many other world class classical guitarists, and currently study with the professor of the University of North Texas and a former student of Matteo Mela.
