    About Hannah L.

It is never too late to learn to play an instrument! I began taking violin lessons at 15 years old and, in spite of being told that I was “too old” to learn to play the violin, I continued practicing and one year later I joined my first orchestra. In 2011 I moved to Boston to pursue a career in music and in 2016 I graduated with a BA in Music from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Since graduating, I've toured and performed in multiple venues across the United States and I've released my own original music on all music streaming platforms. With almost 10 years of experience teaching, I offer private violin, piano, music theory, and songwriting lessons for ALL ages!

We literally knew nothing about playing the violin. My son (11yrs old) got one for Christmas and we couldn't even figure out how to get a sound out of it. Hannah was very helpful and simply started from the beginning. She showed him how to prepare the bow and tune the instrument and by the end of the first lesson my son was playing beautifully sounding notes. He is very happy with his teacher and looks forward to the next lesson.
