Harp with Haley H.

Hello, my name is Haley, I have spent the last 15 years studying and playing Celtic and Classical music. I studied Celtic music and love how fast and technical the playing is. I really enjoyed my harp lessons from my teacher because I loved how the songs sounded. I have taken lessons from Dr. Janet Harbison, a world class Celtic harpist and writer. I have played in concerts around TN while under her teaching. These were my favorite years as a student! We traveled around with a group of harpists and performed at different venues. We even made a CD. After finishing my studying with Celtic harp, I went to Bethel University to study music education and took classical harp lessons under Joy Stubblefield, a graduate of Union University in Jackson, TN. I really enjoyed learning a new style of music. In celtic music it opens the door for the student to be more creative and cultivates their abilities to play different variations of songs, whereas in classical music one focuses on playing the music in a more exact and specified way (there is also the availability to play different variations, but it is different than celtic music.) I am able to teach both Classical and/or Celtic. I would love to be your teacher! :)
