I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with my students. I’ve been teaching drums for ALL ages since 2009. No experience is required! We will start with an introduction to the drum set and be playing right away ! 
Blues, Rock, Jazz, Pop, Folk etc.

My name is Guy Paz ! I’m 26 with a degree in Jazz Performence from Th New School University.
I am a professional drummer and music educator since 2009. I enjoy teaching and helping my students to reach their goals ! 
I am currently the lead drummer for James Brown Live ! Tribute band along with many more music projects in Rock/Folk/Pop and Jazz around NYC. Experience with performing  and teaching all kinds of music genres and rhythms  (Rock, Jazz, Folk, Pop, R&B etc).

I am a beginner at playing drums and Guy is always patient and encouraging with me. He gives me exercises to practice and challenges me just the right amount each lesson. 

He also gives me music to listen to and I’ve discovered new artists and drumming styles. His home is welcoming and he keeps his work space both creative and professional. I’ve met his housemates who are both professional musicians, and they are supportive and friendly! I love playing drums and will definitely keep studying with Guy.
