I have been playing guitar for over 20 years and been involved with music even longer. I have studied with some of the best musicians in the country at the Atlanta institute of Music. My background is in Rock and Blues but I have experience with Jazz and Classical guitar. I teach music theory, not just guitar. *** Lesson Details *** I'm a laid back teacher who can relate to students frustration while learning something new. I use humor to keep a fun and exciting learning environment. I may be laid back but I do expect students to put in the work to learn. I'd rather have a willing student who makes mistakes than a student who plays well but doesn't seem to care. Effort is very important! I will work with students to make them not only guitarists but musicians! *** Studio Equipment *** Room converted to mini studio, amps, guitar, computer, music stands, chairs, street parking. *** Travel Equipment *** I will provide a music stand to work off of. I expect a student to purchase the literature and a notebook and have their own guitar. *** Specialties *** I specialize in Rock, Blues, and Heavy Metal. But i have experience with Jazz and Classical guitar.
