I have been teaching private lessons in piano, percussion, and music theory since 2008 and I am currently available to teach lessons at my home, your home, and online. I have helped students of all ages and abilities achieve anything from playing their first song on the piano, to performing in recitals, and auditioning for college.

I received my bachelor's degree in Music Composition at Hampshire College and my master's degree in Music Composition from Boston Conservatory. I have performed professionally as a jazz pianist, classical pianist, jazz drummer, classical percussionist, and in multiple rock settings all around North America.

Greg is a kind, supportive, intelligent, and talented pianist and mentor. My ability as a pianist grew astronomically after starting with Greg, and they were able to supply the perfect pieces and exercises to support me as a student. I hope to take lessons again at some point in the near future.

Greg is a generous teacher. He was always concerned that I was understanding the lessons that he put forth. He was very perceptive in my shortcomings and always spent the time on those deficiencies. My experience with Greg was very positive and I don't hesitate to recommend him!

Greg is a great teacher - very adaptable to what I was looking for. I know he teaches children and young adults, but even for a stubborn adult, he is able to get through to me.
I practice music I like, learn shortcuts (for me - knowing I would forever remain a Mussolini or whatever the guys name was to his Mozart) and immediately can identify where I was having difficulty even when I couldn't articulate it. Highly recommend Greg.

Our son just had his first piano lesson. Mr. Greg was great. He's very patient, keeps it interesting for the student, and goes at a good pace. We highly recommend.

Greg was my first music teacher, and I owe a lot to him. With a perfect combination of theory and practice he makes sure you understand what you are doing. I enjoyed his classes and miss him now that he is away.

Greg taught one daughter piano, and our other daughter drums and piano. Our girls loved him - we loved him. There was never any gripping about lessons, and they both progressed rapidly. Our girls are still sad that he moved from our area, and we have yet to find an instructor that meets his mark. He was very flexible with his schedule, and would either come to our house, or we would go to him. If you are looking for music instruction count yourself lucky to have Greg in your area.
