Take guitar lessons from a teacher with over twenty-five years of playing experience and over ten years of teaching experience! For the last thirty years, from the day that I got my first electric as a teenager, to my work today as an acoustic guitarist for the band, Timberwood, and currently as a teacher of more than forty students a week, my life has been devoted to the guitar. I'm an experienced veteran of the metal and hard rock scene of the 80's and 90's in eastern Virginia. As I grew older, I took formal lessons focusing on classical guitar, while growing to love the blues. The year that I turned 34, I quit my corporate job, took a leap of faith, helped to build and brand a new music school in Chesapeake, Virginia, working there as a full-time music school manager and guitar instructor. I now teach an incredibly diverse group of students of every age, background and experience level in my home studio here in the fast-growing World Golf Village area of Saint Augustine, Florida and at the Jacksonville School of Music in Jacksonville, Florida. My teaching philosophy is simple - teach how to play the guitar, not just how to play the songs. I pride myself on being a positive and patient teacher, dedicated to his craft and to each student's success.

I have been taking lessons for approximately 7 months and have been very pleased with this instructor's ability to challenge me on a weekly basis. He is very patient, knowledgeable and always willing to clarify skills through a variety of methods. I genuinely look forward to my lessons every week with Greg :)
Very knowledgeable of the guitar. Thanks Greg!
