I have a laid back approach to teaching guitar where students learn the fundamentals and theory behind what they are playing. Student can expect to be playing quickly the music they like. I supplement my lessons with Mel Bay guitar method books. After 3-6 months students will have the chops to play basic songs, learn scales and apply them to basic soloing.
