Hey! I’m a classical pianist, and I’m excited to share my love of music with you. My biggest strength as a teacher is that, since I was not a child when I learned proper piano technique, I have an understanding of how to teach it. I’m active as a performer, and I also enter lots of competitions. This experience means I can help you prepare for and succeed in competitions and auditions! (I recently won First Prize in the 2018 Memphis International Piano Competition and Third Prize in the 2019 Thousand Islands International Piano Competition.) In addition to a Master’s degree in piano, I also have a Master’s in music theory.
