Yoga with georgina B.

Georgina teaches core-centered Vinyasa classes, which focus on clearing the mind from it’s perpetually cluttered nature, and on the fluidity of meditative movement linked with breath. Her passion for yoga began when she was 19 and signed up for a local studio, to help stretch and repair her muscles from vigorous running/marathon training. Soon she realized that yoga goes far beyond simply a physical practice and became enamored by the mental transformation that occurred when she stepped on the mat each day. Yoga is a delicate balance between holding on and finding strength and empowerment, and letting go to find softness and bliss. For someone that used to not be able to touch their toes without being in a lot of pain and now can come into a full split with ease, Georgina wants the students that say “I’m not flexible, so I can’t do yoga” to be able to expand their mental and physical flexibility in her classes, and to quiet the inner voice that says “I can’t” by nourishing it with endless self-compassion.
